As promised, we now have a list of Cassettes and CDs on the Website to streamline the process of hiring at AANSW meetings. This list is also for Members who are unable to attend our monthly meetings. Now you will know what is available to borrow no matter where you are.
Members who are borrowing remotely please include postage of $5 for up to 8 CDs or 4 Tapes or $10 for extras. You will need to make sure the CDs and Cassettes are posted back to AANSW, PO Box 253, Guildford, NSW 2161 no later than 4 weeks of receiving them. Remember, there is a penalty for late or non-returns. Please see our Late Return Policy below.
Now you can browse at your leisure before attending our meetings and bring your completed "wish" list along with you. Make sure you include a few extra titles to your list. A first in, best dressed policy will apply. Simply download the borrowing form, complete and bring along with you to the Meeting. For those Members borrowing from afar simply complete the borrowing form and email it to Christina Thomas at library@pacific.net.au Once we are in receipt of your money and borrowing form the Tapes and/or CDs will be posted to you and viola... happy listening!! Policy for Late Return of CDs/Tapes
AANSW has implemented a new policy for late or non-return of CDs/Tapes from our CD/Tape Library.
This policy became effective as of the Committee Meeting on 2nd August 2008.
The cost of hiring books / CDs etc remains the same.
A late fee to the equivalent of one monthly hire fee, i.e. $3/CD or $10 for 4CDs will be charged for non-return by the due date.

Financial Astrology - On The Shoulders of Giants

Planning your retirement? Dreaming of a holiday to Hawaii? Anne’s advice could be just what you’re looking for! Of course, you will need to do the work for yourself. Anne helps to inspire and assist in an understanding of the processes involved.
After working quite a lot with Horary Astrology, Anne gravitated to Financial Astrology because, as she says, it provides you with ‘evidence’ of the truth of astrology and its use.
Anne reminds us that it is important to understand ourselves before we venture into the minefield of finances. Do you merely want enough money to have a holiday once a year? Do you want to get into the ‘Corporate’ scene? It is your choice!
Anne explains the difference between ‘trade’ charts and inauguration of a company; she assists in the clarification of the differences and the way in which one should approach these differences. Anne also explains that one needs to understand ‘how to trade’ rather than just using astrology as a means to financial freedom. A group known as Australian Technical Analysis Association (ATAA) is noted as a means by which this knowledge can be attained. Anne also directs us to the ASX site via the Internet, which provides us with company incorporation dates.
Horse racing is mentioned as is the importance of Jupiter in connection with your own natal chart. Want to know more? Anne is easy on the ear and she provides lots of practical advice. This CD of a two-part series is certainly worth listening to, for those who hope to fill the coffers.
